Driving Traffic to your eBay store using your URL.
Add a signature to your emails. Nowadays most email accounts allow you to set up one, which can be inserted automatically with a link to your eBay store. Use it to your advantage, as this is free marketing. The more people see your link to more traffic you will generate.
Set up a website, even if it’s made of 2 pages only!! What you need to do tough is to make sure you include a link to your store somewhere. It’s the same concept again and again. I use Google page maker to write guides like this one and drive this free traffic to my web site or store.
You can use this technique anywhere, web blogs, Facebook, my space etc…the possibilities are endless, use your imagination.
Quick note:
You can get referral credits if you bring anyone to eBay and makes a purchase. So let’s say you have a web site on ì how to sell on eBayî and people start going to your store using the link you have place around your site, eBay will pay you a referral credit. However, eBay needs to be able to track that your link was outside of eBay. This can be done by inserting "?refid=store" at the end of your link or URL. Do not include the quotation marks.
For example: http://stores.ebay.com/YourStoreNameHere?refid=store
The referral credit that eBay pays is 75% of the standard Final Value Fee that is charged for the purchase that is made. eBay, every little helps lol!
